saw across the spiderverse and i have to say: why are people so obsessed with miguel? his entire existence in that movie was just somewhat predictable manpain and unbelievable desire to just fucking annihilate a 15 year old. he wasn’t even that hot.
Today I learned that Keanu Reeves developed a “mag flip” technique for reloading a gun that is now being adopted by competition shooters and actual soldiers.
Basically he just kinda twists the gun hard enough that the magazine flies out on its own so he can put a new one in faster.
I just thought it was crazy that an actor developed a viable combat technique.
i made frugal (see: only containing chicken and onion as like, actual “components,” ykwim, outside of the actual noodles) pad thai for our impromptu tenko-you-haven’t-eaten-all-day-except-some-lucky-charms-this-morning, you-have-to-eat-Some-kind-of-meal, please-and-thanks, dinner. i thought it was a little bit plain aside from the fewer ingredients (which was just fine, i didn’t have any congruent veggies is all) but sol *insisted* it was delicious and quite literally licked his bowl clean, so i think that means it was okay. ^_^
